I looked and didnt find a post on Mark Barron on todays game. Mark Barron looked good today. While watching the game he was all over the field and made some good plays.. Good job MB and the rest of the team looked real good today. Roll Tide Roll!!!
Negative. He looked good. I think the one touchdown was his responsibility though.
Cory Reamer was supposed to be on the running back, who went out and caught the pass. Barron followed the receiver across the middle. He looked good. I think the one touchdown was his responsibility though.
On that play...Saban was not happy with Coach Smart on the defensive call. Late blitz from Kareem on the corner and we got burned bad.He looked good. I think the one touchdown was his responsibility though.
His pass coverage and on-field intelligence is coming along nicely. That's what kept him off the field in favor of Green earlier...I've been very excited about Mark Barron ever since he committed to Alabama. I think he's going to be an All-American by the time he's done at Alabama.

Hey, are you two related? But seriously, MB played a very good game and wasn't responsible for the TD. They ran a crossing route that tied up Reamer and that is why we gave up the TD. Look that was really good execution on their part and not the fault of one of our players. Sometimes the other side wins. Luckly for us it was only on this play.He looked good. I think the one touchdown was his responsibility though.
He really lays the wood. My favorite kind of safety. The thing I like best about #4 is that when he hits the runner, the runner goes backwards. He's saved several first downs when the opposing receiver has caught the ball two yards from the marker and immediately been knocked into oblivion.

Negative.
Barron had the receiver on the inside route. Reamer had the RB out of the backfield and got caught up with Barron's receiver.
I'm not saying ya'll are wrong, but how do you know this? Are you basing this assessment on the input of the TV announcers? I don't know which one made the wrong read but watching the play I could see how either player COULD be responsible for the RB. I don't know the play call or even if I did the responsibilities of either player so I can't tell you who should have made the play. I do think Baron has progressed nicely and made some nice plays on pass breakups as well as his normal physical presence. His future is undoubtably bright!Cory Reamer was supposed to be on the running back, who went out and caught the pass. Barron followed the receiver across the middle.
IF his coverage skills progress, stays healthy, and stays for all 4 years, he will be an A-A candidate. If you doubt it, check out the last 10 years of SS's which were highly drafted... and notice a common denominator - Alasippi's comment is the answer. The thing I like best about #4 is that when he hits the runner, the runner goes backwards.
