one of my favorite was 1968 alabama at miami in a special saturday night game. we were leading 7-6 early in the 4th quarter with miami driving and mike dean stepped in front of a miami receiver and went 70 yards for the td final score was 14-6 how about some others

The two interceptions that come to memory for me:

Antonio Langham's interception for a TD against Florida in the '92 SEC championship game and George Teague's interception for a TD in the third quarter of the '93 Sugar Bowl versus Miami.

That season turned out pretty well as I remember it.

Charle Peprah against Georgia in 2002, we lost the game but that moment was electric.

Lee Ozmint back in 1989 against LSU. It was off a 2 point conversion attempt but he went like 102 yards.

Reggie Grimes, I think it was him against Fla. in the 1999 SEC Championship. He tried to do a "Lambeau Type" leap and got flagged.

Peprah against ut in '02. The refs said it was not a TD, but Peprah got a raw deal. That was the final nail in the coffin as well. I will never forget that night, we owned knoxville and I was up all night partying after that one.

The 2002 game versus Georgia. When Peprah intercepted Greene and returned it for six the stadium went crazy. I have never seen the stadium so crazy at one moment. I was drenched in alcohol that rained down from all points in the student section.

That one was awesome. I was sitting in the endzone that he ran it to, and I was going absolutely CRAZY! I remember all the fans in my section throwing sugar cubes onto the field! Truly a moment I'll never forget.

no kidding....my chest still reverberates from that moment. Too bad we had a punter (or lack there of) that set up stupid Billy Bennett.

I literally started weeping at that moment, knowing the Tide had just etched the 12th in stone.

Bobby Johns

I was at the Alabama/LSU game in 1966, and Bobby Johns intercepted the ball around the LSU 30-yard-line and took it to the house. That was a great defensive team. Alabama won the game 21-0.

another memory i have came in 1970 playing at houston bama was up 23-21 with houston driving. steve higginbotham picked the pass and went 80 yards and we won 30-21. the signifiance was of utmost importance we went 6-5 that year and if steve doesnt pick the pass and return it to the house it would have possible been 5-6 and no bowl game

2002- Freddie Roach versus Middle Tennessee State to clinch the game. All week long I kept hearing that may be the position we struggle in the middle linebacker because we had a true freshman. 2003- Charlie Peprah versus South Florida the first touchdown under Mike Shula and the first touchdown that season. I still believe this guy is probably the best team player that has ever played for Bama. This guy moved from corner to safety for the good of the team and I still believe he could have been an all-american corner. Thank You for everything CPeprah!!!

Alabama vs. Florida December 6, 1992

Florida was the last team to beat Alabama: 35-0 in 1991.
With just over 3 minutes left in the game, the score was tied 21-21, just enough time for Florida to get into field goal range. The game, the SEC championship, and Alabama's national championship hopes were on the line.

Antonio Langham was supposed to be in another zone, covering Florida receivers coming into his area, keeping them in front of him in order to prevent the big play. Langham instead chose to attack Shane Matthews' sideline pass, picked it off, and returned it 27 yards for the touchdown and Alabama's 22nd straight win.

The moment was further immortalized in a Daniel Moore print: The Interception

It was the second week in a row Langham had turned the game with an interception return for a touchdown, breaking a scoreless tie with Auburn, ultimately leading to the 17-0 shutout.

not the tide but a former tide defensive back how many can remember the birmingham americans first game in the world football league. birmingham was trailing southern california sun 7-2 in the 4th quarter when steve williams picked a pass and took it back 55 yds for the td. birmingham won 8-7

Well, this is my first post, but I have been a long time lurker here. This is an obscure one, but the greatest interception return for a td took place in the 1993 Alabama-Arkansas game. Antonio Langham took it to the house in one of the greatest displays of athleticism that I have ever seen.

That sight will always be remembered in my heart as one of my favorite BAMA moments EVER!!!
