Little surprised there isn't a thread for this but anyhoo.......been pretty good so far.

In particular the performance of Arky's pitcher Gage Wood in their game with Murray State on Monday. First player to throw a no-hitter in the MCWS in 65 years!

Arkansas' Gage Wood was electric as he pitched the third no-hitter in Men's College World Series history.

Gage Wood’s line: 9 IP/0 H/ 0 R/ 0 BB/ 19 K - just incredible!

But the line of his in this game that really gets my attention - 119 total pitches/ 83 strikes!

Today's games - both on ESPN:

Coastal Carolina vs. the Louisville Cards - 2pm, ET
LSU vs. Arky - 7pm, ET

The Cards will have to beat Coastal twice in order to get to the finals. Coastal has a 25 game winning streak going so pretty tall task there!.

Craziest thing for the Wood performance is that he was an overthrown slider away from a perfect game as well. Also, still pumping 97 after 110+ pitches is insane.

Only the 3rd inning and CC is out ahead 6-0!

Fantastic catch by their left fielder to get that last out too. Did you see the expression on the Cards batter....lol.....he was like "Man that ain't right!"

BTW, I would love to see CC face LSU in the finals.

That Coastal runner didn't read Charlie Hustle's book, apparently. Nevertheless....fantastic play by the Cards outfielder & 3rd baseman!

The games have been good. I went to Arky vs UCLA last night and the CC vs Louisville game today. About to head over to the Arky vs LSU game, should be a great one. They are definitely the two largest fan bases here.
