Does anybody remember it?
I was going over my CD that I am trying to get help on and came across an interview during the game done by Jack Arute.
It was an interview about Mr. Rodgers accident on Christmas Eve.
I couldnt help but laugh, he was probably in alot of pain and was DEFINATLY on some type of medication. But he didnt make too much sense.
I will try to post it sometime, but was wanting to know if he ever played for again. I dont know if he was a senior or not in 92.

Michael Rodgers was a solid LB key to our defense in 92. He was hurt for the Sugar Bowl and Jack Arute interviewed him. Basically, Michael looked every bit of the athlete but somewhere left the student part behind. His speech was slurred, he spoke quickly and the interview was horrible. He could not crrectly pronounce his words and he jumped all over the place. He was nervous I am sure.

My friends and I went over the tape of the game a few times and still could not make out what he was saying. I'm sure he was very nervous and possibly on some sort of medication, but it did not put the student-athelete in a very good light....

I just thought he was pumped that we were about to beat down the Hurricanes. And that he was probably on some medication as well.

The next time any of us have to recover from traumatic head injuries , that were the result of a serious auto accident , while pilled up and winning the National Title , we might act and/or speek a little differently ourselves if a live mic were stuck in our face .

That being said :BigA: it was far from good . :conf3:

The thing I remember about micheal rodgers was the hit he made in the 92' arkansas game. It had langham jumping up and down. I think if it wasn't for that wreck he would be playing on sundays. As for the interview "It was like listening to a ut student being tutored for english class.

That was just one of many obstacle's that stallings overcame.

P.S. Here's to prince hall taking someone's head off this year.
