Game Thread: Morning & Afternoon Kickoffs (9/20/25 11a-5p CT)

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Sure - but there's a reason for that and he's catching flack for something he didn't do.

It's like having a thoroughbred who is abused by the trainer. Like he was last week in Red Stick.

No way Napier should have him out there throwing pass after pass after pass until he gets more playing time.

Napier ran 2/3 pass plays last week.

Lags hasn't recovered from that nor from missing all spring practice and the majority of fall practice.

Napier should have been fired at the end of last week's loss to LSU.

H's not only inept....he's doing major damage to these kids who would run through a wall for him.

Go look at the highlights of Lagway from last year. You'll have a hard time finding a better freshman QB who played last season. He's the same guy.

I think Napier is done. I thought he would do well there, but there's no way UF should look that lame on offense with all the talent they have at their disposal. And that falls at Napier's feet.

The barn crying over getting hosed is so ironic.

First, it seems no team I know has won so many games with getting the "good" break...especially when they are in their voodoo stadium.

But, also the fact they "cry" about every call that goes against them. One time today a barn DB crawled a receiver before the ball arrived and got flagged for PI. The rev's reaction? He acted like it was a biased call.

So, I'm laughing at the barner's crying. Yeah, they got hosed on a few calls, but it's not like they played great either!

I agree. I really like what I know of Napier, he seems to be trying to do it the right way, but I think he will be gone by Monday.

API got a little of the "Jordan Hair experience" and all I could do was laugh. On another note, I like Napier but he had me shaking my head on some of his calls. He will be a good assistant coach somewhere next year. I will give some credit to the Canes. Most of the game, they played physical murder ball. They beat up UF at the LOS, especially in the last quarter.

Oklahoma killed themselves with penalties and a few help the barn extend their drives! So, let's not act as if the refs were just favoring the home team.

the karmic retribution for all of gus' shenanigans while there is a nice touch though

Didn't see any of it.

However.....

1) Auburn giving up a touchdown on some junior high nonsense is nothing short of hilarious
2) Given how smug those bad actors were about the 2019 Iron Bowl, when they got handed the equivalent of an extra timeout (which resulted in a rules change) for the points and that silly penalty - and pretended it didn't matter - well, now they know how it feels.

Auburn 2019:
"Even if that's true, that had no bearing on two Pick Sixes."

I'll play that game.

You gave up TEN QUARTERBACK SACKS......... :)

Lagway doesn’t look like 2024 DJ Lagway. His injury may have healed, but he is not the same Dude. You will probably have to wait until 2026 to get the 2024 DJ Lagway. Injury healed and move on from the mental side of getting injured.

I agree.

Lagway looked to have tons of talent and potential last year before getting hurt.

I watched a few games and he made some incredible throws last year.

Not sure exactly what’s wrong but he’s not the same this year.

You know this actually gets under my skin to even officially comment on it.

The 2022 game we had in Knoxville was probably the absolute worst officiated game I’ve ever seen in my life.

They blew so many calls that kept favoring Tenn while also letting Tenn commit targeting on Bryce multiple times without calling it.

Maybe I missed it but did the SEC release a ‘my bad’ statement the next day?

I don’t remember it.

New Polls are Out:

IMG_7499.jpeg IMG_7500.jpeg

Pretty noticeable differences in the AP and Coaches Top 10 orders.

Indiana gets a big bump for beating a phony who barely remained ranked.

TTU got a bump for beating now NR Utah

I watched that game and neither was a Top 15 team.

Bama gets dropped in both polls while idle.

Looks like we almost have to beat UGA to stay in the CFBP Hunt because a loss might drop us out of the Top 25 at worst or at best we’d be barely hanging on and have to run the table the rest of the way.
