Note: Make it ahead at least 1 hour.
11/2 lbs. Mushrooms, thickly sliced.
3 Stacks Ritz crackers, crushed.
1 Cup Heavy Cream
1/4 lb. Butter, melted.
Salt and Pepper
In a buttered 9X13 pan, place 3/4 of the mushrooms.
Add 1/2 of the cracker crumbs.
Add remaining mushrooms.
Add remaining cracker crumbs.
Pour cream evenly over pan contents.
When the cream has completely soaked in, top with melted butter.
Salt and Pepper generously.
Set aside for 1 hour.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, serve warm or cool for at least 1 hour and rewarm.
