The only thing better than UT losing is UT losing a heartbreaker where the QB cries like a 2nd grader who just fell on the playground.

I think little Mr Bray was getting too big for his pants. The UT Thug in him came out. His arrogance and cockiness is what cost them the game. I rather enjoyed the reality check at the end of the game that was written all over his face.

It's not like it will become the WAC where it counts against us if all the teams lose their bowl games.

Think rationally - outside of ultra-rare situation where we rely on 'strength of conference schedule' in order to earn a shot at playing in the BCSCG, what does it matter?

Screw the rest of the SEC - they rode our backs to prominence then tried to kill us...

It doesn't feel that way to me, as a matter of fact the refs missed a blatant late hit on NC's last drive...plus all the saluting/throat slashing Bray did..... UThug deserves all they got in that game

Do you mean the late hit that wasnt called when the UNC player shoved the UT player into the pile late? The announcers fell all over themselves wanted another penalty on UT but the replay looked like the UNC player shoved the UT guy late. Seemed like a poorly officiated game as usual.

I was pulling for TN until late in the game. The undisciplined play really turned me off and then the throat slash sealed it. I laughed when he threw the pick. SO they got what they deserved, a loss. I normally pull for SEC teams with a few exceptions.

I didn't like the gesture either, but it wasn't a throat slash. Bray was doing the "Clark Kent", ripping open his shirt to reveal his "Superman" outfit underneath, just like that fine upstanding $cam Newton likes to do. He didn't look so much like a superhero on that pick though did he? You gotta love karma when it strikes at just the right time.....

IM guessing from what Im hearing that everyone wishes the sec would go 1-5 in the bowl games? Part of the sec rep is how it does in the bowl games, we start losing them and there goes our rep as the best conference in the nation.

First off if the conference goes 1-5 that means 4 teams forgot they were invited to a bowl game. We can go 8-2 and that is fine with me but I will never ever pull for UThug or the Barn unless it helps Alabama out in some way and that is hard to do then. GO TAR HEELS AND QUACK QUACK QUACK!!!!!!!

Nah save your sympathy for somebody deserving. Karma just caught up with them. All that cockyness and gesturing didn't sit well with me. It looked like a Miami team form the nineties...without the talent.

I forgot how much I hated Tennessee until I started watching this game. Mind you, I hate them much less than I used to (Dooley is not that bad of a guy), but that ..... QB of UT got his just rewards. Jansen Jackson should have been ejected from the game, and in the end, the Big 10 officials actually got it right by allowing 1 second on the clock and penalizing UNC 5 yards for illegal participation.

What I saw was two mediocre teams playing bad football, fighting tooth-n-nail until one could creatively out-lose the other. I've got to admit, the last few seconds of a UT game is must-see TV.
