My Nephew - only about 2 weeks old

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law had twins about 2 weeks ago that were about 3 months premature. They were both under 2 1/2 pounds and 12 inches and 14 inches long. They were both progressing well until this past weekend. The smaller one, Caleb, developed some issues when a portion of his intestines collapsed. He has already undergone two surgeries this week. Today they had to insert a catheter because he has stopped urinating. Things do not look good for him. Please pray for him, his parents, and his other siblings. They have 2 elementary school aged children and one child that just turned 1 year old in addition to the twin boys.

I am praying for Caleb AND his family. May God bless them and give them strength to take care of their family.

We are in Florida visiting with family. Caleb is not doing well at all. The doctor told them this morning that they need to make a decision about what to do. He is extremely swollen because so many toxins are in his body. Unfortunately, the other twin, Joshua, had to go back on a ventilator today. Thanks so much for the prayers for the babies and their family!

With a sorrowful heart, I pray that God bless and be with Caleb and his family and hold them in the palm of his hand. If it be HIS will may this child live and flourish.

I'm sad to say that we lost Caleb about a week after I first posted this. His family has had a difficult time, but they know he is a special angel watching over them. Thanks to everyone for the prayers.
