I get what Coach is saying and agree with him. However, he's not going to make any friends within the referee community with those comments. OTOH, seeing as how we don't get the benefit of home cooking at home, much less anywhere else, there's not much more to lose by speaking the truth.

As a former ref/ump, I never paid any attention to this type of noise. Every game and every play stood independent of those preceding and following the current one. Unfortunately, I cannot say that about all of my fellow adjudicators of dispute. It will be worthy of watching how the fouls are called in the upcoming games.

The collegiate refereeing community needs to be tarred and feathered.

They are incompetent or corrupt, or both.

The predictive metrics never had us below a 4 since January. Our offensive power ratings are what got us such a high seed.

Yes definitely. Our SOS played a big role in our seed as well. Those early slobberknockers helped quite a bit

The other thing that helped is thst we had the lead against those teams for some pirtion of the 2nd half as well.

Bill Self revealed Kevin McCullar is out for the tournament. I had picked Kansas against Samford in my bracket because that was a sexy pick and any time there’s a sexy one it’s definitely going chalk.

But this is a big change. I’m seriously reconsidering.
