Sorry, didn't know which board to put this on, but I could really use a little advice from anyone who knows anything about these Canon cameras. I'm looking at these 3 cameras, but I am confused about which one is the best and easiest to use: the Canon PowerShot Pro 1, 8 mp digital, the Canon EOS 20D, 8.2 mp, SLR Digital Camera, and the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT Digital Camera/18-55 mm lens.
Now, a little history here. I had a Canon AE 1 with several expensive telephoto lens, but it won't take pictures anymore. I wonder if a camera like this is worth repairing especially since I have all these lens that go with it and WILL NOT fit the newer digital cameras. I've already tried it and they are not compatable.
I have never owned any kind of digital camera (yea, I'm doing my best to get into the 21st century) but I do want a digital camera that I CAN get good quality--even slightly professional--pictures from. I use to take my children's portraits with my other camera, so I do know a little bit. (But, I've also forgotten a lot too--you lose what you don't use you know).
Anyway, if anyone owns one of these cameras or knows enough to give me a little advice, I sure would love it. (Heck, I'd love to be able to take great pictures on the quad and at the game). Oh--one other thing (I told you I've forgotten some stuff)--what does the "20D" in the second camera I listed mean?
