I wander if that logo will be on the actual uniform pant? I didn't notice one on the Virginia Tech's one they will be wearing this weekend. Anyway, they neat up close.

"The Nike Pro Combat uniform is 37 percent lighter than current designs (673 grams vs. 1,061 grams). Nike utilized a four-way stretch twill that does not hold sweat or water and as a result, the new uniforms are 46 percent lighter than the current designs when wet. Overall, the Nike Pro Combat uniform, when wet, is still lighter than the current Virginia Tech design when completely dry."

it's an ad. they are trying to make it look "cool". don't think you'll see teams with logos on their thigh pads beaming through their pants.

I don't know. It almost looks like the logo is a part of the thigh pad itself. Rather than the 3 ridges (like on the left side), there are 2 ridges and the logo. It could be just for the ad, but then again, maybe not.

Nike Pro Combat Teams

Even worse... there are logos and uniform design changes associated with this campaign. Fortunately it doesn't look like we are going to be one of the 10 teams in the rollout nor are Penn State or USC. The teams missing from the photo are: TCU, FSU, LSU, Mizzou, and Miami.

So far most of the uniform changes aren't horrible, but Nike has made Oregon into their dressup doll. Let's hope it isn't contagious.
