Neyland Stadium seating question

I just picked up my student ticket for the Tennessee game. I'm in section 22 row 32. I looked on their website and all I saw were lettered sections on the seating chart. Am I correct in guessing that since Q is the 22nd letter of the alphabet, then that is section 22? Or am I giving the vols waaaay too much credit by thinking they even know the alphabet?

Also, I looked for a diagram of where the visitor's section is, and found nothing. Any help would be much appreciated.

"Q" is the 17th letter of the alphabet; "V" is the 22nd letter in the alphabet.

Generally, in neyland stadium, Bama sections are all or portions of A, AA, B, BB, Z15, Z14, Z13 on one side of the stadium, and the upper rows of sections GG - KK.

There is a gate 22, and that would put you in the upper deck on the portion of the stadium with sections starting YY and ZZ, but row 32 would require that you be in the lower bowl (starting with Y or Z). Sections GG-KK have 33 rows, so it's much more likely that you're in either those or A, B, AA, BB.

For sure, you're not in section Q (or V) with a Bama student ticket.

I would venture a guess that there is more information on the ticket or that you're in section QQ (and the Q's look like 2's)

Haha, man that's embarassing...especially after knocking UT fans for their lack of intelligence. I'll blame it on the lack of sleep this morning.

Thats strange that the section is not lettered. The UT tickets are lettered. My wife has season tickets in Z14, and the main visitor section is right below us. If you havent been to a game at Tennessee before, they have one tradition that I really like, which actually is classy. When the band is on the field pre-game, they face the visitor section and play the visitor's fight song.
I hope you have good experiences up here in Knoxville. I know a lot of Bama fans have had bad experiences here, but I havent. Of course it helps when the girl on my arm is decked out in UT gear!

I just called the UT ticket office and they of course said, "we don't have numbered sections. Call the Alabama ticket office". So, I did and they looked my ticket up. Turns out, Tennessee uses some crazy font for its tickets. Mine is QQ, except the circle part of the letter Q doesn't fully connect, causing it to look like 22. A lot of my friends said they were in section 22 as well, so at least I wasn't the only one confused.
