I was thinking second myself. I do think his game translates very to the NFL.
Gibbs is a scat back. He is a good receiver out of the backfield and he can break a big run from time to time, but he is not a big back who can carry the ball 30 times a game. He can't be the bread and butter of a running game. I love that he went in the first round, but I am a bit surprised that he did.

And literally only one team still uses the RB like that. He translates perfectly into today’s NFL.

Yeah, it was a weird pick. The Lions have a stable of good RBs - not a position of need - so why grab a 3rd down back there? Happy for Gibbs, but strange pick.
