The reason I did the search and link was because the question has been asked before. And a lot of questions here are repeated over and over. If someone does not know how to search the site they may appreciate knowing how to.

Hartselle's Stover gains notice in junior college

Former Hartselle High star Nikita Stover is getting plenty of attention these days at Itawamba Community College.

As a freshman wide receiver and kick returner, Stover has found that opponents are very much aware of his reputation as a game-breaker.

Stover signed with Alabama last year but did not enroll after failing to meet NCAA academic requirements.

Through three games with Itawamba (1-2) Stover has 12 pass receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown.

He has two kickoff returns for 84 yards.

Someone asks in the thread. Is he still going to come play for bama? No one answered the question.

Obviously no one knows what the future will bring. No one knows if Nikita will make the grades or even choose to come back to Bama if he does. Any number of things could happen between now and then. Back in July it was reported that Nikita said to Bama On Line the following:

Two months ago, it was reported that Stover had opened up his recruitment, but that no longer appears to be the case.

“I’m feeling Alabama a whole lot right now,” Stover said. “They’ve always been my first love and when I was growing I dreamed of playing for them. I know they need wide receivers and I call the coaches and they tell me how I’m going to fit in when I get there. They should have a good team in two years so I’m excited.

“Coach (Chris) Ball recruited me and I stay in touch with him. He’s excited and keeps motivating me to work hard on the field and in the class room. Everything is straight with us.”

I do agree with CrimsonSurfer that it's a bit odd when people ask questions on topics that were already discussed for quite some time on the board. I know some people aren't internet savvy, but it's not hard to find the latest commitment lists or search the board to find what you need. If you can post a message on here, you can sure as heck figure out how to Google it. I answer peoples' questions when I can though...

I apologize to Bamafanman and BamerMan for my angry slant of my posts tonight. I did not even notice that Bamafanman's computer problems were caused by Hurricane Ivan. I just did not see the Ivan part of the post when I read it. All that registered with me was that it wouldn't be fun part to click the link. I just read the posts again and I feel really bad now.

I edited my posts above to take out most of the non football talk. Just in case someone is looking for Nikita Stover info and they search the board they wont have to read it. lol

You don't have to send me a private message I'm not offended or anything. I just havent been on here for a while (no power for over a week, and still no cable 2 weeks later). I am only on because of those free AOL disks, and I need to reformat my laptop to get off alot of spyware and adware my sister managed to get on here so its difficult for me to get anywhere on here. The added fact that cable has spoiled me and I can't stand waiting 20 seconds for every page to load just makes me lazy...... I wish cable would come back on though, I'm tired of only watching channel 5!!
