'Bama routs ASU 92-58 behind 34 points from Richard Hendrix & a solid performance by Justin Tubbs.

RS did not play, sprained his ankle agianst Notre Dame. RS needs to get healed up over the next week so we can be good to go vs USM & NC State next week.

As for JD, it was announced before tip off that CMG has pulled him out for academic reasons because of missed class time due to the personal circumstances surrounding his brother & girlfriend. this follows institution & SEC policy and now UA will have to go through an appeal process to have JD reinstated.

JD should win his appeal to play starting vs USM on Saturday because he has been on track to graduate this spring & knowing 'Bama Basketball's reputation for graduating players, this should be a no brainer for reinstating JD.

Interesting about JD. I hope Ron will come back a lot better than he showed against ND. I also hope this ankle and knee thing do not plague him the rest of the season because we will not be good then. If we give him adequate time to rest I think he won't have the turnover problem that he did against ND.

Hendrix is a man. Right now it seems like he is not the 1, 2, or 3 option.

Steele, Davidson are truly are 1st options to score but I really think Hendrix will start showing his toughness as the season progresses and he will become a top threat every time down the floor.

I wish he would have had more looks when we played in south bend the other night but our main problem against ND was defense.

Hendrix has had trouble finishing inside. Riley is a 1st option right now because of Steele's injury. Gee is ahead of Hendrix for scoring because of athletic ability.

This is very good news for the tide. Why? One, we can get a solid win without two of our best players. Not very many teams can do that. Two, this game game different players more playing time and experience , such as Hollinger, Hendrix and the bench.

Bear Bryant is dead and we got our ***** beat by Miss St and Sylvester Croom (who our university wouldnt hire because he is not white!!!). Les Miles is a better coach than anyone Bama could get.
