Yeah it's gonna give the Star haters a lot of fuel.

It would trouble me greatly if Star had haters amongst our fan base. The contingent that I've heard the most clearly (as I was a part of it) was the group who was urging those calling for McElroy to be benched to calm down and give the young QB time to get comfortable and grow. So from that standpoint, it's notsomuch as hating Star as it is supporting the guy who the coaching staff has deemed our guy.

Star is obviously a great athlete or he wouldn't be playing on this level. However --and this isn't a slight against him-- but I just don't think he'll ever be the starting QB at Bama unless there are injuries.

McElroy will finish his career next season, then we'll see either McCarron or Simms as the starter. JMO

I to think one of those two will be the starter

Obviously I am not talking about here, as it's against the rules to talk down about the players. If this is the only Bama board you frequent it's quite understandable that you are surprised that there are people like that. There is a good contingent of people who do not like Star on other boards however and it is those people I am talking about.

Correct, he and Greg ran for about the same number of yards their senior seasons. Greg did throw for about three times as many, but was in one of the best programs in the country.

The both had around 800 or so yards rushing.

Greg looks only a little bit slower to my eyes.

It kinda is. I'm glad that type of talk isn't allowed on this forum. It's why this is my main message board for talking about Alabama football. It's unfortunate that other forums allow the garbage that they do.
