I was ok with the Vandy and Tennessee losses, we were competitive. We weren’t competitive tonight.Vandy beat us.
We didn't show up for this game. Stats confirm that hot take.
Then I guess football aint his thingNope....he doesn't like contact and his football IQ is not good.
And where are they this year?
Should have gone the track and field route. Then I guess football aint his thing
Reminds me of the Motley Crue song. Don’t go away mad, just go awayBut he needs to play well in that game to leave.
I still want to win that one, and send Milroe onAt this point I’m okay with the barn winning so they don’t fire their sorry coach while we figure things out. Our season is over. Bama doesn’t live and die by the Iron Bowl like the barn does. We have bigger fish to fry and we need to get our act together for next year.
Yep I quit mentioning it because of the same thing. I didn’t want to bring the overall mood of the board down. The ones that have implied we have been haters all year and wanted their victory parades after every win will be silent tho.People are tired of me talking about how bad Milroe is. That’s why I called it “piling on”.
We have to pray that's what happens. I'm not sure I'll watch next year if we have to suffer another year of JM and I watched everything through the dubose, Fran and shula years...Milroe has to start next week or his draft stock will drop even more. Need him to play well one more time so he can move on. Then tell him that he will not be starting the bowl game and advise him to "sit out the game to prepare for the draft" so you can begin developing next year's starter.
I was not okay with either of those. Nobody should be.I was ok with the Vandy and Tennessee losses, we were competitive. We weren’t competitive tonight.
It hurts for me to say this, but for all the great things that Coach Nick Saban did for Alabama football, he did the program a dis-service by not dealing with the SANK cancer. But then again, he knew that Tide fans would be "livid" with .500 seasons because of portal transfers in 2023 and 2024. And while he gave us clues as to what was going on in the locker room ("the team chose the quarterback"), he kicked the SANK can down the street for the next coach to deal with. And here the program is. JMHO.I think it's silly to be calling for CKD's resignation one season in. Anyone who thought we would see no downtick in performance was deluded and probably spoiled. There are definite problems, clearly, but. let's give the man some time. There's no excuse for the poor performance we've seen, but it's completely irrational to think there is anyone else that we would be able to plug in who would be able to immediately right the ship, even if their name rhymed with Tick Playpen. Remember that the specters of these same problems were going on last year too.
That tweet is exactly why he left: small time
Couldn’t care less about his draft status. We need to be well rid of him.Milroe has to start next week or his draft stock will drop even more. Need him to play well one more time so he can move on. Then tell him that he will not be starting the bowl game and advise him to "sit out the game to prepare for the draft" so you can begin developing next year's starter.
While I also wanted to hope beyond all reason he would turn the corner, I wasnt convinced he would..........and I felt the same way. Dont care that people felt it was being a hater, it was calling it like you saw it and it has proven true...........and now look where we areYep I quit mentioning it because of the same thing. I didn’t want to bring the overall mood of the board down. The ones that have implied we have been haters all year and wanted their victory parades after every win will be silent tho.
Or Mac, or bryce, or coker,.or Sims, or AJ.Tua would have still shredded them apart.
And he has no lateral speed or quickness. He's straightline speed only. He gets chased down by LB's and Dlinemen when he goes east/westNope....he doesn't like contact and his football IQ is not good.
I honestly think he will leave and try his hand at the NFLWe have to pray that's what happens. I'm not sure I'll watch next year if we have to suffer another year of JM and I watched everything through the dubose, Fran and shula years...
When DeBoer is fired after next season we will look back at this as the first sign that the wrong guy was hired. He was brought in for that “innovative offense”. If the QB can’t run it, you don’t throw it out, you pick a different QB.Remember earlier in the season when we were told that Deboer adapted his offense around Milroe’s skill set? Most of his offense was never installed because Milroe couldn’t run it, so they made the decision to sink or swim on the one thing Milroe can do: run the ball. That was completely shut down tonight, leaving no options but to keep doing it or try to pass to get back in it, which he can’t do. Even if they put in a better passer, he would have no experience running anything other than the limited offense they’ve been running all year.
I'm wondering if they have the intestinal fortitude to come back and do that. This Alabama team could easily have lost to USCe and GA and be sitting at 6-5 right now. This is not a good football team. Just beat Auburn.
