I enjoyed the steady scoring, stingy defense, and second-stringer play. Not much else to take away, except there was another blown kickoff return coverage (in this case we were saved by a cheesey penalty), and a new problem in the missed PATs. There is still plenty to work on - but that was a good scrimmage.

i love what i'm seeing from Barron. as he gets more comfortable he'll be a game breaker in the secondary. i still would like to see another CB step up as well as Reamer.

Does anyone know if Goode was injured on his one carry? He left and did not return. After the play he looked a little dazed. I was hoping to see more from him today.

Totally agree. I was very surprised we didn't' get to the QB more. Hard to argue with the overall D effort though.

I'm not ready to take a swallow yet. We're pretty dang good and we'll continue to get better barring injuries. But we played North Texas.

If we do this to Arky then I'll have a 64 oz cup of the Kool Aid.

Nice to see only 2 penalties I believe. The first few games seemed to have to many so nice to see the mental alertness. Didn't like the TWO missed extra points. Not sure what happened there.

Not enough pressure on QB, special teams still ugly, still some blown coverages.

But a good win.

Overall I don't see a lot to complain about from todays game. We played very solid all around (especially first teamers), albeit against weaker competition. Special teams really had the only snafoo's that I saw but with a big lead it didn't hurt us too badly. Compared to last weeks performance I saw much improvement. Not to mention we played a ton of young players. Players like McCollough, Kirkpatrick, Johnson, Star, Richardson, & Love just to name a few. And CNS started subbing early, even in the first half. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
