I mean, if I'm an AU fan, do I tell my middle school kids, "Well we tried to win by soaking the field, but they adjusted and still beat us." Are respectable fans proud of this move or dissapointed?

I wonder if that last hand-off/ touchdown was because Muschamp was being an ...... Ordinarily Bama takes a knee.

Ok, do I just have a fundamental misunderstanding of the rules, or are the posts about that handoff incorrect? We couldn't have taken a knee on Henry's TD play, as it was 4th down and the clock would stop because of the change of possession, but I've seen multiple posts stating that we could have taken a knee?

Our D played their hearts out. Glad we didn't get smashed, but we have some major soul searching to do on offense this offseason.

Derrick could have after he got the first down. I am happy he didn't but stopping at the 1 yd line and taking a knee would have sent a message too.

I like his fire. We need it. Don't mind unless he directs it at the opposing team's players.

Problem with that fire is that on that play, Ritter's clown show actually got the call right. It was really late, at the knees, and put Coker into the bench. He really made a spectacle of himself on that play and should have been ejected.

He's a great poster. Even participates in game threads and has been very complimentary of our team. Fans like him from other fanbases are welcome here...well except LSU fans :biggrin:

We will, thanks. The D improved and hopefully that trend continues as he gets his recruits in place.

Gave up nearly 500 yards and 7 scores.......and that's knowing that Henry was getting the ball every play in the 4th....

Might want to rethink that.

Dub has been a respected part of this group for a while. Serious? Yes and while I am being serious, I didn't solicit your opinion ... newbie. Its pretty telling when you can't even win with class.

And for your knowledge, this board is known as a benevolent dictatorship; the last I heard, the benevolent dictator was just fine with Dub.

I don't know if this has been mentioned or if anyone is aware but Alabama's sophomores have won 15 SEC games in two years with another game next week. Auburn's seniors have won 14 SEC games in 4 years...

We were running for the first so that we could knee it out on the next set of downs, but Henry was too good and scored instead.

Henry got a TD to extend his record streak. Not 'needed' but I'd bever deny him that.

Definitely added insult to 365-day injury for Barn fans.
