Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama @ UGA...

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

How is it huge? We had the first down anyway. And all we needed was one more first down. Whether it was 15 yards up the field or not didn’t matter.
I usually don't comment in these threads but, for me, the "Great Leap" provided fantastic comic relief! I keep replaying it because it's just funny. When we see that they could have also penalized for targeting it's even more hilarious. At the time, it may have lifted the team's morale even more. I mean it had to have been embarrassing for the dogs.

He tucked that ball away and immediately started looking for someone to hit. That was absolutely awesome. Frankly, next time he gets flexed out there, what’s a DC to do? They are going to have to prep for this alignment again. And it’s going to waste time during the week to figure it out. There’s a HS Oline kid dreaming to get the ball and this made a mark in their head. So many positive things for being so ballsy.
Probably my favorite play call in the history of watching football. Just amazing
Proctor .....11 yds per carry. :)

How about Proctor in short yardage situations as a ball carrier or blocker from the backfield???

Just got to see the second half...we dodged a number of bullets to get this win...dropped TD catch, penalty on the 3rd and 1...why Kirby didn't kick a FG and didn't run the ball direct on 4th down....lots to take away but also lots to be thankful for on the fortune side! RTR!

Sometimes you just can't figure Kirby out, but I'm plenty happy that he has his moments of mystery.

Why not tie the game up and see if your defense can get the ball back. Why go fast of 4th down when you don't need to.

I do appreciate it when Kirby pulls a Kirby.

Georgia was definitely aided by the zebras in the second half missing a few crucial pass interference calls that would have kept some drives alive, but this is two years in a row that we looked unstoppable in the first half and they made great halftime adjustments that knocked us out of rhythm.

What football universe are we living in where GameDay is coming to Tuscaloosa for Alabama -VANDY??

Have no doubt that this is a lot more about Vandy than it is us and their "specials" will reveal that.

I couldn't not watch them on Saturday in their backstreet boys unis. Made it impossible to listen to anything any of them were saying. Kinda don't care anymore if they ever show up on our campus again except for the fact that if they do, then it probably means we're winning games.

100% although they'll cover Ty a good amount because he's currently part of the Heisman conversation. But you're right. GameDay is coming because of Vandy.

Saban being on campus for Gameday will be cool.
