I don’t think it’s DeBoer‘s decision. If Milroe wants to return , he will return. Then the decision would be DeBoers on whether to start Milroe or to move on.
Theoretically he could, but I don't see that happening once he sees the writing on the wall. Milroe wants to start. I fully expect him to either be in the NFL or to be the QB of Florida St next year. They just went out and got Gus Malzahn. That would be a good fit for him, and FSU loves taking Bama players.

what would he do with LANK? FSLANK. Thats a money maker for him, plus DJU is coming back next year. Don’t know if the rumors or true but there is that rumor his NIL deal guarantees a starting spot. Would they buy out DJU’s NIL contract?

The minimum NFL first year player salary is $795,000. Quite a few folks could be taking pay cuts. Unbelievable what some of these kids are being paid to play college football.

Especially for Milroe. On3 has him at $2.2 million. His first contract won’t have that much guaranteed. No matter what Kiper says. He’s a 3rd day selection at best.

I wonder if the conversation between CKD and Milroe hasn’t already happened. We are one committee’s decision away from Milroe possibly playing in his last game. You can’t convince me that both parties aren’t already aware of the “what ifs” of the committee’s decision.

Kiper has him as the 3rd best QB on the board. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bigger disparity where NFL analysts value a player vs where his own fanbase values him.

Huge Sleaze was hired because he proved he could beat Nick Saban and for no other reason. He was a proven commodity in the area that meant the most to the boogs. Thing is, he was fielding a team with ill gotten players before it was legal to do so. He had a roster laden with professional talent in the dawn of the smoke and mirrors offense which made them very hard to beat. He can no longer make a roster like that cause everybody is doing it now.
Even so, those were two of the flukiest games in the history of football.

At worst he is early 2nd round, but likely 1st round. He will make more - maybe a lot more.
I’ve seen those projections but I’ve also seen the inconsistent play on the field. Hard for me to reconcile taking a day 1 or 2 pick on him. As a Titans fan, if they did I wouldn’t be very happy although we could use a quality running back 🤔 among many, many other positions ha!

I agree. I’m not anti-Milroe and coupled with the fact my 7 year old has played more football than Kiper I’m not sold on it

The Raiders will jump all over Milroe with their top five pick because that's what the Raiders do.

Holden Geriner, the QB recruited by Harsin is entering the portal as well. Leaves only Walker White and Deuce Knight from the 2025 class. Tells me they will be QB shopping in the portal.
Sleaze has been shopping for a QB since he has been there. That is why they have problems...his inability to bring one of quality in.
