They had an off week to fix the offense. I'm thinking they thought they could just sleepwalk, but still inexcusable. I just hope we can beat Chokelahoma and they have a way better defense than LSU. And they have a bye week smh....

After having a little time to think about the game: The first half was fine on both sides of the ball. We did leave 10 - 14 points on the field in the first half.
Grub needs to quit getting cute when cute isn't needed.
LSU adjusted defensively at the half and we didn't adjust offensively. Maybe because we thought we had the game won and didn't feel the need to.
LSU was playing loose because they had nothing to lose. If BK had been coaching last night we would have run away with it. The team had quit on Kelly. When Kelly was fired it breathed new life into that team but not quite enough to handle Bama.
Oklahoma is gonna be a tough nut to crack but to what others have said we play more UP to our competition so will likely see a different team next Saturday.
I think two things would go a long way to help our offensive line and those are a new offensive line coach and a new approach to strength and conditioning in particular to the Oline. We simply cannot just line up across from the defensive line and drive the defensive line back.
One of the things affecting Ty (IMHO) is the pass rush he has been under lately. He appears to be anticipating the rush rather than feeling it ( if that makes any sense).
For our faults I don't see another team out there who is a really dominant team.
Maybe aTm but not tOSU or Indiana. I say that because the latter two really haven't played a schedule like we have so.........
That all being said, we're still in the hunt. Our last games are winnable and we have as good a chance as anyone else to win it all.

At the risk of being banned I would say that Ty had a bad game...he was really amped up and kept over throwing receivers. It's like he wanted to win so bad that he kept getting in his own way. Relax and let the game come to you...

My hope is Grubb is putting down longer routes and trick plays to give upcoming teams more to think about as we didn’t do too much of this first half of the season. I think we will see something off the trick plays and utilize a more controlled passing game going forward. As for running holes I haven’t seen any since the Vandy game. No clue what going on there.

So, the SEC is the closest thing to being in the NFL without being in the NFL. Grubb got dumped from the NFL because he didnt or could not emphasize the running game enough.

These coaches have never seen anything like the SEC in their coaching careers. Hopefully, they are evolving their own philosophies...

This group has worked together for some time. I would love for them to bring in a few outsiders, preferably with SEC experience, to help that evolution. We’ve all said Sam Pitman 1000 times but I think that’s exactly the type of experience DeBoer needs to be seeking out to add to this staff.

I get this line of thought, but before you limit what you show too much, you better make sure you have the current game in control. We haven’t controlled a single game all season. We’ve been a failed 4th down conversion or a bust by our defense from losing several games.

This is my hope too. I thought they would take more deep shots because they seemed to be talking about it more the week leading up to the game. I just have to believe we won't stick to doing things that do not work at all when we have seen things that do work.

This is one of the few plays last night that ****ed me off. Williams all he had to do was run straight and he would've got first down. There was too much dancing going on last night with WRs.

FYI, All four of LSU's lowest yardage games since 2015 have all come against Alabama, 2025, 2018, 2016 and 2015.
Saturday's game they 232 total yards.
No one beats them like a Bama beatdown!

I will say, auburn won a title in 2010 and came from behind in too many games to count that year. We can definitely win this thing!

To be fair he has taken some big hits this year. The TD was a decent shot and he held on.

The offense almost felt like a scrimmage with the play calls. Like they were practicing deep shots and some power running out of the I. Kind of a weird feel with the plays this game forcing what they were trying to install in the off week and add in with not showing things for OU. I think/hope it will be more game planned and fluid for OU.
