Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread, Bama vs. UGA...

The "problem" is Milroe is touching the ball 50 times a game. He threw 34 times and ran 16 times. Those 16 rushes are severely eating into the RBs carries. But it is what it is.
there was on instance where Milroe should have handed the ball off but kept it. He got buried by uga's D. I believe it was 2 plays before the FG?

I was at the game, so I didn't have benefit of replay. Georgia converted five 4th down plays, plus another two by penalty, for a total of 7 first downs on 7 4th down attempts.

My question is about the two by penalty -- did we really interfere? I was at the game and didn't have the benefit of TV replay.

Obviously, the refs missed the DPI when Bernard was mugged just before the half. That cost us at least 3 points, and maybe 7. On the two 4th down conversions by penalty, Georga went on to score a TD.

So depending on the validity of the DPI calls, the refs could have directly affected the score by as much as 17 - 21 points.

Am I overreacting?

One of them we definitely grabbed the WRs jersey as he made his break. Another was one of those borderline calls- UGA was playing the same way and not getting called for it.

Wow. I have to admit, I thought we were beat when Georgia started that last drive. That interception was incredible. I hope our coaches will use this win to improve on our weaknesses. You can never, never take the foot off the gas in the SEC. We did that in the 2nd half.

I was at the game also. There was one that we got called where you clearly saw the ref signal that our defender pulled the guy’s undershirt and that was what he was calling. On replay he did but it was ticky tack by comparison of what they got away with benard

It was probably the loudest and wildest crowd at BDS I’ve attended since 2014 Auburn, and I haven’t missed many since 2014.
