Two things happened offensively in that second half and one thing defensively. Both which led to a cascade of events which we fortunately survived. Offensively our guys came out simply going through the motions. And our OC did little to help with play callings. The other thing (on Womack) is letting them convert SIX fourth downs! Some of which were on THE GEORGIA side of the field . We make stops on just TWO of those six and we win this going away.

Yeah lesson to be learned by players but by this coaching staff as well.

That is the one thing I haven't liked so far... too many LONG drives where we just can't get the stop. Bend but don't break ain't a thang for me. Our young secondary got a good beating in some respects although they played hard. Good experience for them going forward.

I sure do. I was uneasy late in the 2d quarter when we didn’t put them away when we had the chance. CKD and the staff learned they ain’t in the PAC 12 anymore but still got the win. I sure won’t be overconfident if we play those guys again.

I’ll admit it I don’t wont to play them again. But I don’t want a national campaign like David Pollack led to keep them out so we can have an easier road.

My feeling is that we got to the half and the defense was gassed. The second half was a combination of conservative play trying to rest the defense especially after that 6 minute drive by UGA and that really took the sails out of the Defense. The other part was that UGA adjusted at the half and was ready for our vanilla offense.

Bottom Line: Our players made the plays when they had to at the end of the game

Roll Tide! Crazy game for sure. I felt like we easily left at least 10 points on the field and refs probably screwed us out of at least 3 more before half. Should have been a runaway but I’ll take it! I love peeing in Kirby Smart’s corn flakes any time we can!
