Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama vs. Vandy...

I will say, I was highly critical of Womack in the first half- and frankly all season and last season- was telling everyone in my living room he should have been fired months ago- but major props on the halftime adjustments to just absolutely shut Pavia and Vanderbilt down the entire second half. Pavia might as well have been crying at the end. I loved his little temper tantrum garbage 1st down pass the end the game. And Womack and the defense did that to that punk.

KDB said we were not physical enough on the line in the first half...which boggles my mind..how do you let someone push you around when you could be the one doing the pushing...but second half, they were definitely firing at the snap

Vanderbilt is Mama though.
The only place I would see Clark Lea leaving Vandy would be Notre Dame.

Lea is a Nashville guy. What many people don’t realize is Lea actually signed a baseball scholarship with Birmingham-Southern. After his freshman year, he transferred to Belmont to play baseball. Then finished at Vandy playing fullback his last two years.

He is making $3.75 million; if he finishes a strong season he might at least double that with a 5 year contract with a big (75%? )buyout clause from some offers.Generational wealth.
Strike while the iron is hot.
