Today reminded me of the old joke:

Coach asks his quarterback, not known for being the sharpest crayola in the crayon box,

“Son, you think you can pass the football?”

His QB looks closely at the football and says “I think so. If I can swallow it, I can pass it….”

The last two years reminds me of my late father’s two favorite sayings when attempting something damn near impossible.

“No matter how hard you try, you just can’t make silk purse from a pig’s ear.”

“You can put a saddle on pig but that doesn’t make him a racehorse”.

The last play my dad ever saw was 2nd and 26. I’m so thankful he didn’t have to see the last few years. I’m not sure he could have survived the Milroe era.

There was an instance after the Georgia game that stood out to me about Milroe and his ego. He was standing in the endzone with his arms folded, posing and seeing the cameras flashing. He was eating up the "All eyes on me!" moment. I thought, he is so full of himself, and his head is so big, that he thinks he has already won the Heisman. What happened the next week? Also, how did we get worse offensively as the year went on? Because defenses knew if they took his legs away, he couldn't beat you with his arm.

100% agree time for Milroe to move on, but after watching the O-line performance I think it may have been an injustice to put Ty Simpson in the game....but probably worth it no matter.
I don't know. Ty can actually read things and make the dump/short throws that can back off a pass rush. Milroe is to the house or nothing.

I will say that it is funny the brian "killer" kelly did not realize he needed to stop milroe's legs. and he had 2 weeks prep time.
