What a shame that would be, huh?

Amendola is asking children who have been helped by Sandusky to come forward and tell their stories in public, showing that Sandusky was affectionate with many children without any intent of sexual misconduct.

Of course not. They weren't brought up because they have anything in common with each other. But together they emphasize the moral decline in our school systems.
An assistant football coach gets caught raping a young boy in the showers at school - it gets covered up.
An assistant principal gives a male student a gown and encourages flamboyant homosexual behavior in school - the school says they have no power to do anything about it which leads to that student making unwanted homosexual advances to another student who then shoots and kills him. The school still disavows any responsibility for those acts.
A 12 year old girl kisses a boy in her class. The boy likes it but the school calls the police and charges are brought against her for sexual assault.
Our school systems seem to be promoting sexual deviancy in our society instead of teaching our kids those things for which they were hired.
As I said, this country is getting more screwed up every day.

I think he will...right before sentencing. You, I, the judge, and almost everyone else will realize that it's a bunch of crap in an effort to reduce the charges.

bad stuff has been happening in our schools for a long long time.

i think it would be very hard to go back and find a generation who didn't think their children's generation isn't morally depraved and bankrupt. getting more screwed up every day? nah. kids will always be wearing blue jeans, knocking each other up and listening to devil music ;)

local news just reported that sandusky has been re-arrested

haven't seen anything yet online but sounds good to me!

The new grand jury report about victims 9 and 10 is out there. A few have linked it on twitter, but I'm not sure about linking it here. Needless to say, it is horrific. And it leaves even his wife sounding complicit. He would keep these kids in his basement. Victim 9 shouted for help one time, knowing the wife was home, but no one ever came to help.
 
I had a hard time with the judge who granted Sandusky his bail because it was unsecured and she had knew him personally. She should have recused herself from the case because of the prior relationship. She volunteered at his charity and knew him personally according to what I read. He is an accused mutiple child molester who lives in proximity to a school. I did not think he should be out on a reduced bail or any bail at all in my opinion. I am no expert on this situation but I have heard some folks say that pedophiles continue molesting even after arrests or imprisonment. Why is this one out on bail?

"Sandusky allegedly approached the young man, engaged him in conversation and expressed an interest in spending more time with the child," the grand jury found.

That initial contact was allegedly followed by outings to Penn State football games and gifts, including money.

Later, during overnight stays at Sandusky's home, "behavior such as hugging, rubbing, cuddling and tickling - initially viewed as acts of affection - escalated to sexual assaults," the grand jury said. "Additional sex acts were allegedly performed in the swimming pool and jacuzzi of a hotel in the State College area, at times when the pool area was not occupied."

According to the grand jury, Sandusky told Victim 9 that he "loved and cared for him and urged him to keep their activities secret."

I get sick to my stomach every time I hear the portion of the Costas interview when he says:

I have horsed around with kids. I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them, and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact.


I just thank God I didn't have any Jerry Sandusky around me when I was growing up.
 
This just keeps getting worse and worse for not only the PSU administrators but virtually everyone that is part of their football program.
It's no wonder that there are no takers for their long-open HC position. No one with an ounce of self respect wants to get within a hundred miles of that place.
