I believe college football should now made professional. The SEC can afford to make this change. Make them attend officiating school and post grades in games and be made accountable for game day performance. Only then can there be an improvement in quality of their officiating. Pay them well to attract the best candidates. low grades in games would be reason for their right to work being subject to being sent back to school for improvement. Or let go. Great paycheck would be subject to performance.
Part time guys, most have other jobs and do this part time, and we get one sided called games, like 10rc when the Tide got almost 100% of suspect calls and the other side only a couple of calls against them. Total home cooking would be only a call or two instead of wholesale calls preventing the home team from losing.
