They kept fighting when they could have easily mailed it in. That fight should bode well for them going forward.
Pearl is 4-14 in Q1 games since the beginning of last year, Oats 17-10. In this year AU 0-3, Ala 3-4. Of course, it can change quickly.
The last 3+ seasons: Ala 35-24 vs Q1, AU 12-29. Notice how tough Bama's schedule has been to have played 59 vs 41 Q1 games. They truly have played a relatively tough schedule.

Watched UT vs. KY last night after our game and I don't know how UT ever loses a game. They are so stacked.

One thing to watch for Wed. night is Bama starting slow. We've had some slow starts the last few games (Georgia was awful) but I think Bama can't afford to allow AU to set the tone and get a big, early lead. CNO has been talking about the need to start fast. Hope they get it!

Bama either opens up some distance or Auburn draws level. Big implications.
My money is on UT to win the league though. They are just so consistently good.
I agree about UT...they play the best all around ball that I have seen in the SEC.
The NET, which the NCAA selection committee uses, has Alabama, UT, AU at 5, 6 & 8.
