Does Tony Mitchell have the worst on court body language since Rod Grizzard? Seems like there is no effort put forth unless there a possibility of getting a dunk. I think Green has come along way and completley bought in to Grants system but I am not sure about Mitchell.

I tried posting this in the other Tony Mitchell thread but it was closed. I think this is a topic that is shared by others and needs to be discussed.

I'm not here to bash Tony, but I stated after the VCU that I hated his attitude and body language at times. Everyone chalked it up to him playing through pain. Bottom line, Tony is an emotional player. When things are going his way he celebrates and gives maximum effort. When things aren't going his way he pouts and sulks. This has been an issue for him for since he was a freshman. Heck, he has a slight moment in the open practice this year. IMO, the avgerage AL didn't start paying attention to basketball until SEC play last year when things were going great. They missed 2009-2010 and the 2010-2011 preseasons when things weren't so hot. I love him. Game would not have been close without him last night. I know Coach has handle on it, but I do hate it when the pouting starts. However, it typically takes one dunk to get it him out of it.

This thread is going to be closed also. We're just not going to to have bashing threads based on something as vague as some self-designated crystal ball experts' opinions on how they interpret how a player walks, etc. If Mitchell - or any other player, for that matter - has an attitude problem, it'll become evident over the season. At this point, we're not permitting speculation - and that's exactly what it is - on how a player moves. Good grief! "Body language" - what next?
