***OT Cyrus Kouandjio Signed with Bama***

Woo-hoo. What a great Saturday!!! After watching the Tide beat the Vols in Knoxville!!!, I came on just to check to see if there was any news and there it was!! I would've posted earlier, but I had to call all my friends and family who don't hang out on the board to let them know first! Welcome Cyrus!! I spent 7 years in Tuscaloosa (undergrad and Law) and I've never regretted one second of it! You're going to have a great career there!! Can hardly wait to watch you and Arie play! Roll Tide!!!
 
When my son joined us for dinner at a local establishment he told us the news. It definitely put a sense of celebration into our evening meal. Coupled with the big win in Knoxville, it's great to be a Bama fan! Wecome Cyrus.

Not positive, but I believe they are from Cameroon.

This could end up being one of the best O-Lines in the history of Alabama football.....can you imagine Dee Hart skating quickly around these Redwoods, it's gonna be amazing.

I bet Bama's "second" team Offensive-Line next year will be better than half of the other SEC team's "first" team O-lines...not kiddin'

I think Aaron Douglas has got to be in that line-up somewhere. As glad as I am about Cyrus signing with Bama, it remains to be seen whether or not he can beat out Douglas for a starting spot
 
Wow, I'm so excited! I flew back from Puerto Vallerta today, and I had about 20 texts from Andrew Bone when I landed. My first thought was "what in the world?!" I thought Cyrus wasn't announcing until Monday, so I wondered what all the hoopla was about. I almost screamed to the whole airplane when I saw it. What a wonderful surprise on a Sat. night.

I sure hope Cyrus can get a good night's sleep tonight. I'm so impressed with the way he and his family handled all this drama. I can't imagine all that went on, but we're so glad to have the whole family in crimson.
