I think the OL will be fine for years to come. I honestly would not be sad if we went back to running the ball 70% of the time because we have some mountain movers coming up.

We need him. Surf or anyone in the know - do you see Cyrus starting as a true freshman?
I think he has the potential to start at Bama as a LT but I would think that Arie would be the LT next year since he has been in the program for a year. You never know what will happen on the OL but as well as Fluker has been doing at RT I wouldn't mind taking a look at him at OG. I think the Kouandjio brothers could hold down the OT spots. ;)

Fluker and the K Brothers. Any RB in the country would be a fool to not want to run behind that line.

That would be a mammoth offensive line.

Watching the video he sounds like he's got his priorities in order and like he's a pretty intelligent kid. Not a bunch of 'um', 'you know' coming from him.

I liked the fact that he plans to enroll early so he will have spring practice. I hope I'm right that his not having any other teams on the tip of his tongue means he's coming to the Tide.

I did not realize he was an EE. I thoughthe was like Arie and graduate in the spring. Also I thought I read he would take his visits in Deca nd Jan just like Arie. Maybe wrong on my part.

we are probably leading for him as of recently.
Most followers of Cyrus Kouandjio's recruitment believe that he has favored Bama all along. He has made sure that everyone knows that he is not a lock to Bama but I just don't see any of the other schools he is looking at beating out Alabama. Cyrus has not said that Bama is his overall favorite but he is has said numberous times that he would love to play with his brother Arie.

The Maryland native met with reporters after DeMatha's 31-28 win over Good Counsel last Friday, and while he wouldn't give up too much information about his recruitment, there were a few tidbits worth nothing from his interview.

He still hasn't set dates for any official visits as he focuses on his school work and senior season, but Alabama might have emerged as a clear favorite...8212;something many observers have believed for a while now.

"Alabama, yeah I'm probably going to go down there (for a visit)," Kouandjio said. "The others schools are up in the air. We'll see."
Here are a couple of articles from earlier this year with some good info on Arie and Cyrus.

With Carpenter graduating and McCullough a Jr. there is a definite opportunity to play early for either Cyrus or Arie.

During the interview linked, he states he will be an EE. He also will take all 5 official visits. He said it will be once the season ends. Sounds like he'll take them in a row then decide.

Ya, w/ the talk of him being an early entry, I believe much more strongly that he'll at Bama... always did, but had my doubts. If he KNOWS he's going to be an EE, and he KNOWS he's taking an official to BAMA, and isn't sure what other schools will get an official... that looks good for us.
