Ward is saying that he 'thinks' Bama may offer him a grayshirt. I do not believe it has anything to do with CK. I personally think that Ward is on the back burning for a possible opening with a grayshirt offer but Bama has not told him anything according to the AJC article today.
I don't think we're really "back on" Ward. I don't think he ever had a firm offer, nor do I think he has one now. I think we'd probably take him as a greyshirt, but I imagine we would have done that all along. I think if the latest from Ward means anything, it is that he is at least somewhat seriously considering a greyshirt offer to 'Bama.
