Someone called out the "Bama" fan/Auburn poser lol, it is pretty sad that people are commenting on the kids personal page.
It seems to me that more and more on here worry about getting that five star recruit to sign with Bama so to win a recruiting NC than what really matters, getting players that will make a difference when it comes to wins and losses during the actual football season. We have his brother, a highly coveted recruit last year, as well as many other highly ranked offensive lineman already so why all the gloom and despair?
Auburn won the BCSNC finally! We will just win it this season and all will be well again! At least till some other supposed lock takes a visit somewhere we fans don't want him to be considering. Got to love fans and idiots!

its a sports blog and with all blogs should be looked at with a grain of salt but it is at least as credible as Deadspin.
The Facebook stuff happened with the 5* linebacker that decommitted from MSU too. The same people that are terrible at regular social interaction usually aren't mature enough for social networking...
I've been following the FB stuff also. I think it's a mixture of poseurs and some of our own idiots. There are a couple of girls who are right at the fringe of stalking him and I'm afraid they're genuine...
That stayed pretty normal until the end when that Iowa dude and the kid from Enterprise starting an e-b**** slap. ROFL. Idiots.

Hello Tide Fans. Been a busy week! Coaches visits at the Kouandjio's, final official visit, and lots of speeches (speaking of speeches, ya'll should check out "The king's Speech" but i digress), and just a few days Away from NSD. I'm so glad this whole process is almost over (so is Cyrus by the way). BTW, a decision has not been made yet, so please don't ask me where cyrus will be going... lol (even if I knew it would be a highly classified piece of info... lol).

do you know if cyrus or the family plans on visiting Arie at any point this weekend, after the visit maybe?

No matter where he goes, we really respect the guy. I'd love to have him at Bama, but I know that there are other schools out there that may be a better fit.
Hey Magnanga Boy, so glad you checked in! Please tell "the king" that I'm still chanting- "WE WANT CYRUS! WE WANT CYRUS!" In all seriousness I do hope he does what is best for him, but from the standpoint of a true, die-hard "ala-holic", I can't imagine he would be better off anywhere other than with the Crimson Tide. Well, Goldbrick has him all but a lock for the barn...that guy is a real piece of work. If it turns out to be true, I'm gonna vomit. If it doesn't, I'm gonna send Goldbrick a snarky email.
I don't care who on here knows him or likes him, you cannot read anything he (Goldbrick) writes and not walk away feeling "orange'd". He is a barn homer from the get - go, and everything he writes puts it out there for the world to see. I don't care if his beat is the barn, none of the MPR beat writers are homers like that...even Woodberry is somewhat balanced and realistic.

In all honesty, though, I've been as excited about Cyrus possibly coming to Bama as with any other player in the 15 years or so I've followed recruiting. The four players I felt were destined for stardom were Andre Smith, Julio, Trent and now Cyrus. Of course, he's everything you could want physically, but you can just tell he comes from a great family, has a great head on his shoulders, and will really thrive under a coach like CNS.

I have to admit that I have just stooped to an all time low by snooping on an Auburn thread. I'm sure they claim that every recruit in America is a "lock" for them, but they are saying some things I thought I would pass along. They are claiming that Cyrus is a done deal for them now. They claim that somebody that knows somebody that is 13th cousins with somebody said that even Arie is telling this. I know you can't believe everything that you read, but this still made me feel uneasy. Anyway, I guess we'll know soon enough, but until then I'm still hoping for him.
I wouldn't doubt that he signs with AU, they get all kinds of praise, Finebaum/Al media starts speaking of a dynasty, and we get a bunch of bad press. With the way the football season went, it wouldn't surprise me. I'm not being a downer, as I feel like we still have an amazing class. I just objectively don't think we get him.
Bad enough you have to visit such trashy places, but do you really have to bring the rank rumors back with you????
