A lot of good Alabama people are hearing bad things. His parents not being there may have been a bad thing for UA. I can't see how a school recruited him for three weeks vs a school in the process for years and the other school wins . Just can't see it.

I know, this is what I can't get past. I just don't get it. Supposedly had Miami not changed coaches Auburn wasn't even in his final four. Then we got Miami's OL coach, and that seemed like an instant plus. Not to mention Cyrus's familiarity with Tuscaloosa and his brother on our team. I hope this rumor of news is very fluid. I wonder if his final decision has been made.

I'm still confident Cyrus will Roll with Capstone tomorrow. Can't see him at the Barn. I was much more worried about the Hawkeyes, but then again stranger things have happened.

Iowa is out. The situation is fluid, but I'm not nearly as confident.

Has anyone seen a direct quote from Cyrus saying he has commited to the Barn. No, but man people on here need some medication. This is as bad as the K Allen thing last year. Everybody getting torn up because a highly rank prospect who might develop into something special might not pick UA. Yes I understand if he picks the Barn it makes it worse. These writers and so called experts need to get paid. This is time of the year that they get the most new subscritpions. They make predictions hoping they come true to keep you paying in the future. I have seen so called experts from several sites call it both ways. No one knows and until you hear it from Cyrus we will not know.

Nothing is being said except some Barn fans and writers. What is actually happening are people are jumping the gun because they are not hearing anything about UA except hearsay that he might not come to UA.

With due respect, are you privy to information the rest of us aren't? I want to think positive here, too, but apparently whatever filthy, vile pixie dust that Trooper Taylor spreads around is something that these kids like.

It's also a shame that these kids are buying it.

Exactly, you take the ones that want to be here and do not worry about anyone else. The Barn won the NC this year and happen to be the flavor of the month. The difference between the 2 programs is UA in a rebuilding year went 10-3, the Barn will be lucky to finish with 7 wins next year. And starting so many freshman this coming season they will not be able to sale early playing time and 6 or 7 wins will not bring in a top 10 class. So yes they will end up with a strong class this year and maybe in 3 years win 10 games but as history as shown us Auburn has never been able to sustain long term. Who cares who they get because on the field they very seldom are a factor.

Yeah, I have to admit that RTO's post just now made me throw up in my mouth just a wee bit, but I am already over it. I rarely criticize a kid over his college choice, and I am not going to do so now, but IF Cyrus chooses Auburn tomorrow, for me, at least, it will be one of the all-time head scratchers. I just don't remember a case where two brothers from a tight family chose to play for each other's most hated rival. Seems odd.

I think fans are perplexed about this because reports were Cyrus was more impressed with UA than Arie was last year when Arie visited. AU hasn't been on his list too long. Then all of a sudden, it becomes the school to beat. That's odd, especially with their known recruiting tactics. I don't like the fact that his parents didn't make the trip there. That just gave Trooper and Luper more chance$ to talk to Cyrus without wise influence.

I will say that MB hasn't been frequenting these parts the last week or so like he did when he first join. Makes me wonder.

Yep, you can go back a few pages but he said last night a decision hadn't been made. He said a firm decision would be made by tomorrow God willing. I think that was his last statement.
