Other regionals

Overall #1 UCLA eliminated.

Kentucky, poster child for the anti-SEC crowd in the tournament this year, is showing they deserved a bid. Just three outs from winning their regional.

Was there…. Was exhausting… but was totally worth it.

Hopefully St. John’s can knock out FSU and we don’t have to face an endless number of stud relievers. St John’s is legit but I like the matchup better

Got your wish. St John's knocks off FSU.

All these teams are losing. If we can make Omaha, then you never know what can happen from there.

Right now I think it’s Georgia’s to lose. Past them I would say Auburn and Texas.

I think our bullpen and lineup will cost us from making some serious noise. We could win a game there since we would wind up with KU vs OU winner game 1, but eventually we would have to deal with Georgia or Texas game 2 should we survive and more than likely Auburn/UNC on the otherside should we be warped to their 1-1 elimination game. I think 2 wins is our max should we advance, but all hell could break lose in the Supers or when Omaha starts and we luck into something big but realistically I still don’t see more than 1-2 wins…. But that’s okay. Getting to Omaha with a team with 80+ errors and only 2 guys over .300 in the lineup would be a massive accomplishment.

But I wouldn’t look past St Johns. They went through a team with endless amounts of quality arms twice in a regional. They ain’t coming to eat Dreamland and go tour BDS and Bryant museum. They are a very good team that must be dealt with. But I really like our chances

Ole Miss eliminates the barn.

Troy will face West Virginia in the first round in Omaha.

Georgia up 1-0 over the barn of Mississippi.

Oklahoma up 7-0 in Game 1 over Kansas.

UNC-USC tied 1-1, winner gets Ole Miss in Omaha.

Oklahoma game did go final, so OU is up 1-0 over #15 seed Kansas. There's a whole lot of unseeded teams advancing this year. BAMA is up 2-0 after two and a half.

Could be four SEC teams in one half of the bracket.

Yes. Ole Miss may have an easy road to the Finals on the other as well. The brackets broke uneven with USM, Florida, and UCLA all losing their regionals.

What’s crazy is that UGA, Texas, and MSU maybe the best teams left but they are on the same side of the bracket. Texas and the winner of Georgia and Miss St play each other in game 1 in Omaha and all 3 of them are probably the best teams in the country

Could have had more SEC in Omaha.

Kentucky blew a lead late in the first game against the RichRod Couch Burners and then in extra innings in the second game. Doubt Poly gives them much trouble.

No idea how Florida got blown out twice by Troy.

Tennessee crapped the bed in their region and that’s fine with me so I will stick with seven in my what might have been Omaha bracket.

You forgot about aTm hosting from the catbird seat as well. Entering regional finals Sunday we still had a possibility of having 8 teams in Omaha
