Peanut to visit Bama

Bamamag has a story listed on Whitehead. It sounds like Bama will get an official visit in January. Hope this is true. We could use his talent!

That would be great to get him on campus... this guy seems to be a great talent, and much like Andre Smith, has been extremely difficult to get a real read on. I must say that I have been surprised that more big-time defensive recruits haven't been looking to Bama after the year that Coach Kines & his stellar defense has had. CJK can make these guys like Whitehead into true superstars if they will just let him.

Here's hoping that Shula, Kines, & staff can win this guy over.

If this is true, then it is the best news we have heard about Whitehead in the last four weeks... always believed that getting him here on an official was the essential step to us landing him... at the very least, we have an above-average chance now to get him.

Yeah, after watching our D the past two seasons why wouldn't they want to come to Bama? I don't get it. :conf2: I don't think any D in the country gets any more exposure and attention than ours.
