Responsibility. Bahhh !! That is just a word that religious folk use to label people. It is perfectly normal for man to crave food. McDonalds is just a modern version of a field where our ansestors used to crawl around for nuts and berries.

Responsibility is used by the religious to label people ? I am a Christian and I have never used that word in that aspect..........
 
Ah, er, if I read the story correctly, two teens charge they got obesity, diabetes, coronary disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and "other ailments," all from eating McBurgers? I know the food is yucky there, but I never suspected it was the medical WMDK (Weapon of Mass Destruction for Kids). Suppose the other ailments were cavities, mad cow disease, acid reflux and undescended testicles? :eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

No Tex. I am saying that words like responsibility and lust, same sex or otherwise, cravings, character, are all religious labels. Those things are just natural functions we as homo sapiens aquired from our ansestors down through the evlolutionary train. Those words are just modern labels designed to set up false standards to keep us all in line with religous peoples "values".

Ahh war, another word for mans natural response. Back in the day when all we thought about was how to be more like those "other apemen" accross the way with less hair and a smaller heads, we used to fight over all kinds of things. I find the outrage in some about the war quite greenhorn. It is actually viscerally appealing to the core of my DNA.

Bamabake, aren't we supposed to be reaching for something other than our basest instincts? Lust, gluttony and sloth are also natural responses, but the Bible says we're supposed to control our passions.

Obviously you and pig are part of the crowd that dismisses the fact that we as humans are a product of evolution. If a male lion can be a glutton over a carcass, why cant a modern human do the same at McDonalds. In fact I cant even understand why stealing is illegal. I mean natural selectiona and all. Survival of the fittist baby! Too many rules put in place by radical religious types to keep our natural urges down.

Well, sometimes it takes the rediculous to see the rediculous. Of course we agree on those moral issues. There are many people however whose baseline starts at a pool of slime a zillion years ago that think morality is something else we evloved into and changes, you know to each his own and all of that. Of course morality comes from God. Some may disagree but I submit that law itself comes from those very moral standards. In fact I will go so far as to state that those moral standards underpin our country, fundamentally, and ultimatly our future survival will depend on their defence from a God-less worlds secular assault.
