...........by rotating them out each play. Before all of you starting telling me what a stupid idea this is I seen Dan Reaves do this with the Broncos years ago with Elway hurt.I think they still got killed.Maybe bring Rader out of the press box to work with the QB in between plays.Let the Qb bring the play in from the sideline. This might be over coaching but with the way our passing game has went since BC went down I dont think you can over coach right now.You could tell the QB exactly what your looking for or what he needs to look for.I hate plaing 2 qb's.I know its hard to get in a rhythm. If 1 of them gets hot then leave him in there. We got to do something to jump start our passing game.I dont think more reps in pratice is going to do it.Hell it cant be any worse than the play at QB last week.We pretty much stunk it up.Maybe script the first 10 plays for each QB and pratice the hell out of them so the QB's know exactly what to expect. No suprises.Might just work.

and this from a man who want let other people from posting there opinons after a loss?

Your sentence structure is rather hard to interpret. But your suggestion is bizarre to say the least. The last thing we need is dual signal callers to confuse the team even more. I just completely disagree with what you said about rotating qbs every down. We would never get into any kind of rythem.

My point is give each QB X amount of the passing plays and let them pratice those plays so they might better prepered for the game that week.Make run those same plays over and over in pratice with every kind of coverage you can think of.I know its hard to get in a rhythem plaing 2 QB's but we must jump start our passing game.We have no rhythem right now in our passing game.Make the paly book smaller for both QB's and maybe make them feel more comfortable and productive. Its easier for a QB to learn lets say 10 routes to prefection than 100 are how many patterns they got.

I'm getting a headache...

both from the spelling and grammar and the basic sandlot idea. There's a very good reason that there's no Div IA team running that scheme. Preparing two QBs, dividing reps - constant confusion. On top of that, CMS is a NFL guy - one QB until he can't go or becomes ineffective...

Well besides the spelling and grammer which Shula cant fix we just wait and hope 1 of them steps up?I hope I'm wrong but it could be a long wait.I thought I might get this reaction from everyone but ,in my opinon, its better than waiting.I understand the preparation and dividing reps part but I disagree with the confushion part.I dont see how it can any more confushion swapping QB's compared to swapping wr or rb or te.I know its desperate idea but its better than waiting and hoping. We might be able to just run and play D agasint USM ans Miss St but we want able to do that the other 3 games.

Umm..

You can't choreograph a football game, lol. This isn't a movie.

It will cause confushion guys!!! Confushion!!!

well when we had Brodie and Tyler that worked because each qb brought something different to the table. one being a drop back qb and the other a running qb. but with Marc and Spencer both being drop back qb's it would just make the whole thing too confusing. using two qb's is alright when one is a situational qb, like when we would use Tyler in goal line situations. but to divide the plays 50-50, that wouldn't work very well.

Two QB's is a recipe for disaster.

The guy in the game will play scared, because he knows he will be on the bench if he screws up, not to mention the ball exchange problems. The QB in the game and the receivers both have to adjust to that particular QB's timing on the routes to different receivers. If you let the receivers adjust to the speed of the ball, or the time it takes for the ball to reach them, or the plane on which the ball comes in on certain routes, then you change it up, the receivers have to readjust. Even handing the ball off can be different from QB to QB. If one hands the ball off 2 inches higher than the runningback is expecting, because the other QB has been playing the whole game, then the ball is on the ground. The QB may take the snap with just a centimeter or two of a difference in his hand position. This can cause fumbles taking the snap.

Unless you are talking two completely different systems (where both QB's have had plenty of reps all year in practice, which is not the case with us), like we ran with Tyler and Brodie, changing QB's is not a good idea. Ever.

ihatefulmer this is not a personal attack on your grammar or thought process. It is just a disagreement with your unorthodox offensive strategy.

QBs have to have a feel for the flow of the game and rhythm with the team. Also the entire team and especially receivers and running backs have to have a feel for the Quarterback as far as snap signal calling, touch on passes, handoffs, and scrambling tendencies, etc. If you notice quiet often when a new QB comes into the game the snap exchange is bobbled or an offensive lineman jumps off sides with a different snap count. If your idea had any merit at least one other coach in Div 1A Football would be doing it. As far as I know none are.
