Yes, for the sake of the inmates and the CO's. No one wants a wildfire breaking out in jail/prison. I provide services to our local facility. They have pretty much locked down to keep all nonessential visitors out and we have set up with them to do telemed instead of in person visits whenever possible. Anyone who breaks state orders should be fined $500 and if they repeat the stupidity it should be $5,000. That should get their attention.

I live in florida and he can't attend my church. we are cancelled until at least april 12. we are a conservative, independent, Baptist church and have conscientious pastors and deacons who look out for the best for the people 90% of the time and the 10% is when i don't agree with something and then they are not clear thinking about the way i would do it.

Before this COVID-19 mess started. Do you know why the crime rate in Tuscaloosa is so low? The liberal mayor appointed a liberal judge. Criminals are arrested, taken to jail then to court where the judge lets them go. So there is no crime committed. The crime rate is low but in essence it higher.

I hear it from Police Officers almost daily. A girl I graduated HS with was killed during a robbery a couple years ago. More than one officer have told me that the guy had been arrested multiple times only to be released. Now he is finally where he should have been years ago but a life had to be lost to put him there.

Low compared to what? Tuscaloosa is constantly way above the US average and on par with the Alabama average.
