Well, she may be an Auburn fan, but she's one of my best friends the other 365 days of the year. Janice was diagnosed with melanoma (sp?) two years ago and even though they removed the spot, it had already broken loose and began to pop up all over her body. She had part of her lung removed last year and under went chemo which helped to shrink a tumor in her brain, on her ribs, and one in her back. Now, she's found out she has 2 tumors on her spine, 2 on her ribs, and one on her tongue. She under went radiation for these, but has had to have a feeding tube put in her stomach cause she can't swallow anymore. She has told her doctors "NO MORE" radiation and chemo. She just wants to live out the rest of her life with quality instead of being sick from the treatments all the time. God, we're praying for a miracle!! So, please include Janice in your prayers. I promise the only fault she has is her devotion to Auburn.
And, for all you sun worshippers!! Stay out of the sun--and especially those tanning beds which her doctor told are worse than the sun. When you get skin cancer, THERE IS NO CURE IF IT BREAKS AWAY FROM THE SPOT WHERE IT ORIGINATES!! You die!! I know there are some people who catch it in time and get it before it breaks away, but those numbers are dwindling every year.
