Plus, we replaced lead in gasoline to "Chevron with 'Techron'" whatever THAT is. Any studies on what that stuff is doing to us guinea pigs?
I think these fuel additives are detergents rather than TEL, which was a performance enhancer. Unlike TEL, I'm not aware of any poison that comes from combustion.
Proving something causes cancer is actually quite hard.
I'm totally cool with cleaning up our food supply. There is good data coming out about the impact of some of the ultraprocessed foods and the relation to our health. Although... by some definitions bread is considered ultraprocessed and it almost certainly healthy in reasonable quantities.
The GRAS list exists because Democrats and Republicans have both received tons of $$$ from Big Food to make it that way. Good luck at changing it, but I hope good things come of it. There is plenty of hypocrisy on both sides here.

Dear Lord, if there is any chance vaccines case Auburn to be good they must be banned immediately and we need 5 trillion in a reversal program!
Our food quality definitely needs to be improved but as far as trying to reduce cases of Cancer the #1 thing that could be attacked 1st is Big Tobacco.

Considering Biden served under Obama during his weaponization of the IRS, I suspect lots of folks want to peak at the actions of the IRS under Biden.
I have no problem at all investigating the actions of any government agency. If the IRS was used for political purposes, then those responsible should be exposed and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
I know I do. If you can provide evidence that Obama "weaponized" the IRS, as opposed to let them collect from deadbeats, in any way approaching Nixon, I will happily admit to "both sides". I know Gummint is ugly. I still don't believe Obama is guilty of "weaponizing" unless you just don't want to obey the law. Panama Papers stuff should be prosecuted. These Pols ain't special.

There's no question that the IRS was targeting right-wing political groups. Lois Lerner took the fall, but that didn't satisfy many. Obama was (and continues to be) untouchable, however. If he was responsible (or even knew about it) he is everything the left pretends to hate today. If there was a cover-up, I would be shocked if there's a paper trail left.

Not much easily found, but Techron appears to be relatively safe. In fact, it breaks down carbon deposits and may prevent larger carbon particles from being released that are more damaging to the lungs.
