Excellent as always.

I tend to agree with you in that MSU will be relatively solid this year and get back to a mid-tier bowl game, but will ultimately still fall short against the better teams of the conference due to a few key holes and a lack of depth. That said, they are a long way in front of Ole Miss, and unless Malzahn can work Chris Todd-esque miracles at quarterback again this year, I'd put them slightly ahead of Auburn too.

The Fletcher Cox deal is still surprising to me. Two years ago we were recruiting him as a Jack linebacker who needed to add weight to hold up against the run, and now he's playing defensive tackle. Really goes to show you how crazy things can be with body types and physical development of players.
