There’s a reason most of us are in this board (and have been for extremely long periods of time) and those rules are it. If you don’t like the rules, feel free to move on. If you can’t abide by such simple, and honestly, pretty reasonable, rules, I am certain you would not be missed.

Serious question... I asked this in another "profanity" thread and it was apparently lost in the shuffle.
If we link to an article and the article itself is fine, but there's profanity in the COMMENTS, is that an offense?

In that case, I won't be posting another article. I could look one over and see that it's good to go. Then after I link to it, someone could go into the comments and drop a curse word that would get me banned here.

Yeah the comments are always filled with profanity, racist comments, political comments, and a ton of stuff that have nothing to do with the article.
