I don't post much, but have a quick story to share.
I grew up in Birmingham, but left in 1995. My love for home and Bama football has grown exponentially since then.
The week of the Tennessee game, I went to meet my folks in Gatlinburg to enjoy the scenery and the Alabama people that are always there that time of year. It was also my first visit to Gatlinburg. It was great. Of course we know how the game turned out. My brother and I joked about going back down into Gatlinburg and possibly being in a scuffle or something due to jerk UT fans. My girlfriend (from Montana, and just doesn't get it) thought we were crazy. Guess What... An employee for Gatlinburg's tourism dept called me over to his booth to ask if we went to the game (I had a Bama pullover on). I thought he would be classy and just talk about the game. He proceeded to tell me he wishes I wouldn't have wasted my gas to drive 300 miles to see my team take a butt whipping (censored). He continued to make fun of me, and all I could come up with was this......

Tomorrow, when the sun comes up, You'll still be an ignorant Tennessee fan.

Coach Rod will still be a WVU guy (hillbilly if you wish).

We will ALL still be Alabama people. I say we got the best end of that deal.

We are fortunate to be from and have a love for Alabama, good or bad. 12-0 or 0-12. We have a great tradition, and a great future. Times aren't always great, but times aren't always great anywhere you go. At least when we struggle, BDS is still there, 12 trophies are still there, 4 statues are still there, and one open space for the next statue. I don't see that anywhere else, do you?

We'll be fine....
Looks like sun tomorrow....
