Folks, don't shoot the messenger I'm just putting up info from a usually reliable, older, mature poster that frequents our board. Yes he's an OU man but he has A LOT of respect for our program.

I really think there is enough information out there to say he is not going to commit on Sunday. It's really what I thought all along, it's Bama or OU. Both systems will fit him well. But as a life long Sooner fan the suspense is killing me. I'm glad it's coming down to these two great programs.

you will get backlash for saying you can't prove it man, Also Bama is still in it and he said himself he willn't be announcing tom. the latest info says he will visit bama within the next two weeks. This is coming from someone that told me about pagan two days before signing day and has great sources as well.

Whether you're a OU or UA fan, would you really feel confident about a commitment Sunday at 8am with all the info coming out about this guy. I doubt a commitment is happening tomorrow but if it does I don't think it's LOI guarantee. Give him a couple more weeks and maybe it feels more solid but he loves both program. What's not to love about each program. Big decision

well said...

FWIW its worth since everyone is throwing out rumors the Michigan boards are blowing up that Kiel delayed his decision because he wants to check out Michigan and is really considering them. Apparantly it started on their Scout site with some article. I love recruiting.

Actually I would say alot OU fans, especially the ones that have all these inside sources that were promising everyone over there that Gunner would commit to them this morning. 8)

I think as of early Saturday, even on the OU boards, everyone knew he was not going to commit on Sunday.

NSD 2012 which is next February.

Surf is correct. Early enroll candidates can enroll in January (i.e. get to campus in late December), but no one can sign 'til the first Wednesday of February at 8:00 a.m.

As I've said before, I honestly don't think anyone has a clue about Kiel at this point. Maybe that's all just intentional smoke on his end, but maybe he's legitimately torn. If it's the latter, though, where he commits in the next few weeks (if he does), might not mean much of anything. Whoever gets him in the near future is still going to have to hang onto him for another eight months.

Based on the way the kid has handled his recruitment so far, I'm betting he'll make his choice and then shut it down.

People here in Missouri were really hoping to get this kid. Kind of burst their bubble when news broke that they were no longer in the running.
