This information came from another board, so I'm not sure the veracity of it. However, if he in fact does commit, I would guess it will be low key and probably be announced sometime this evening or this weekend. I recall Gunner saying that if he commits he is just going to notify the coaches and that he is not going to have any type of big media announcement.

The media may not catch wind of it until later in the evening, if it's suppose to actually happen. That would leave us not actually knowing until tonight or tomorrow. Of course, I'm still not certain of the validity of this.

I think he is Bama bound, but again, I doubt it will be released at 4:00 today. If he indeed commits today, it will probably come out this evening or this weekend.

The 4:00 time frame was something that was posted on another board, but there is no way to verify that. You'll notice in my earlier post I put a big "FWIW" at the top, and then posted the statement in quotes. I probably should have been more clear on what I was posting. If Gunner commits to Bama today, it's highly unlikely that we're going to get some type of 4:00 official announcement. I would think it would come out sometime this evening or this weekend, IF he commits today. Right now we're all sort of playing the wait and see game...
