You must have ran right home to get on here and start up some controversy, considering that rehersal ended around 5:30.

Here's to hoping you won't return next year.

Well...don't know what kind of internal stuff is going on between you two, but all I can say is that if that is true, I'm glad I got the most recent CD, since I won't be buying this one!

Glad to see...

the Million Dollar Band continuing it's politically correct downward spiral.

Go ahead and take the Rammer Jammer cheer off of the CD...if the band doesn't start appealing to more fans we'll all be using our old CD's anyway.

I am so tired of all this politically correct CRAP!!!! One of my favorite things about Alabama football is the Rammer Jammer cheer after a victory and listening to it on a CD getting ready for a game. We need to do something to let these wishy washy people at the University know how we feel about the Rammer Jammer cheer and if they dont like they can kind find somewhere else to go!!!

well, hon..

I think we should just replace the Rammer Jammer cheer with Shirley Q. Liquor's version of Yea, Alabama. My dream is to have 80,000 folks singing in unison, "That looksisis good, girl"

Perhaps we should get big Shirl to help out with the halftime show as well...it can't be any worse than that stupid apple tree we had rolling around on the field a few years ago.

Long live El Rosiro!

Ashamed to admit to it...

But I really enjoyed the Southpark movie soundtrack stand tunes. They would've been really appropriate dedicated to Phattamus Phyllis.

Just don't ever tell Naweofbama what the lyrics really are.

There used to be a song Bama fans would sing after throttling an opponent, though the last time I heard it sung was after the 1993 Sugar Bowl:

(To the tune of "O My Darlin' Clementine"):

Alabama, Alabama, Alabama Crimson Tide!
Raise your glasses!
Kicked their *****!
Alabama Crimson Tide!

Wonder where it went?

Salty's second verse...

Alabama, Alabama, Alabama Crimson Tide,
Raise your watches,
Kick their crotches,
Alabama, Crimson Tide!

And a THIRD verse...
Alabama, Alabama, Alabama Crimson Tide
Bama hold them
By the scrotum
Alabama, Crimson Tide!

(Sorry about the anatomical reference!)

Just another thing that the MDB has done recently that I don't agree with. First the halftime shows and now this. IMHO things have changed for the worse. :(

There is some sort of explanation for this turn of events centered around Auburn's post game celebration. I don't really know what it is, but I think there is some outside pressure from somewhere.

And what happens to AU for violating SEC policies? Z-E-R-O.

Actually, I think that AU was fined for their post-game celebrations. Apparently, there was something in the B'ham news about it the other day. And don't blame the MDB for the absence of Rammer Jammer on the CD or at any other time. All of the griping should be directed towards Athletics... seems like they're the ones who have come up with the rules governing the playing of that cheer.

I'll try to find the article, I've heard nothing on campus about it.

And there's no better way to get the ball rolling then movers and shakers at the top of the MDB... But, yes, I know who holds the purse strings.
