Something to keep an eye on as ESD approaches. I haven't seen a thread on Jase McClellan , a highly coveted RB that Bama is pursuing. JS has been a long time commit to Oklahoma, but it has not stop Alabama from recruiting him. CNS and Karl Scott had a home visit with him on Tuesday night and from all indications , the visit was a huge success. There is growing confidence from the Bama side that JS is close to flipping to the Tide. OU mods still believe he sticks with them as of yesterday. In the past few months, the feeling was OU had no doubt JS was all theirs to he's " still leaning" to the Sooners. JS will be signing next Weds. if you guys recalled, Bama flipped their highest commitment , Drew Sanders, back in April.

I hope Jase comes to Bama. We need another high quality running back to pair with Trey Sanders. The other RB we already have committed will be good too. Can never have too many RB, with injuries, etc. I hope BRob improves but if he doesn't, he may get lower in the depth chart after a few games. I just hope Trey Sanders stays healthy. I think Sark will run the ball more next year than this year. Especially if Tua leaves.

I keep hearing noise that Jase will be coming here, but we will see. If everyone else signs and he does as well that would give us seven running backs on scholarship next year (I think).

Roydell Williams and Kyle Edwards are very good in their own right. if Bama strikes out on Jase, we will be more than fine. Sanders will be the next great RB at UA. before his injury, staff and coaches were praising him.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, didn't BONE say he has has him on his gonna commit list, he is not always right, no recruiting guru is, but he's pretty good. OK is hammering him hard now i'm sure, it will be interesting what happens.

I see a Ohlahoma insider is predicting him to Bama on 247 as of this moring. If we could just get Jarrett to flip or get one of the other receiver targets we have committed, add Webb and Washington that would be great!!

Webb is all lsu. Washington is a wild card with Tennessee trending and UGA/ Bama in the mixed.
Jarrett could be a possible flip to Bama come Feb. NSD.

Yeah just hoping on Webb but don't feel good about him for sure. Who knows about Washington, Maybe we can flip Jarrett. How do we feel about the d lineman from SC...?

I'm hearing different on Webb..a lot of confidence coming out of Baton Rouge, but Alabama has been in very close communication with him including today. Remember...there was a lot of confidence of Arik Gilbert to Bama from every side and we saw how that went down. These recruits now are very hard to predict.

if you referring to Burch, he's most likely to stay home ( USC) for family. UGA is the preferred choice if he decides to leave the state from what I'm hearing. LSU is the dark horse.

yes Webb is getting interesting, but I still think he's lsu bound.
I find it strange how Webb, a highly touted prospect from the state of Georgia with an Auburn connection is favoring lsu. :sneaky:

I am really hoping Bama does not miss on a tight end again in this class. I realize they signed one last year. I just mean missing out on one of the studs. Is McClellan someone that is good enough to come in next year and leap frog Brian Robinson and be the number 2 back behind Sanders?

More than a few eyebrows have been raised over here in Ga over another recruit
