In a large container (this makes enough for about 3 months to a year, depending on how much you grill steaks), mix the following:

15oz A1 sauce (or off-brand)
15oz Worcestershire Sauce
12oz JD Whiskey
8oz Honey
6oz Soy Sauce (You can substitute Dale's if you want)
4oz Lemon Juice
4oz Liquid Smoke

Makes about 64oz (Half a Gallon), and only costs about $25 to make each half gallon, assuming the whiskey makes it straight to the sauce. Best steak you'll ever eat.

Depends on how you like it. It will overpower the meat if you marinade it too long. 30 minutes to an hour should be good. I usually marinade it for about an hour and then baste the steaks in the leftover marinade while I'm cooking.

My husband and I tried this marinade out this weekend for some friends. We marinated most of Saturday. They were great! We're tee-totalers so we didn't use the whiskey, but it was still great!

Thanks!
The alcohol burns off. ;)
